Sports: Valencia sacks head coach>>>>

Image result for picture of gary neville>>>>>Gary Neville has been sacked by Valencia as confirmed in a statement on their website. The revealed on Wednesday that the former Manchester United defender had been relieved of his duties. The 41-year-old was sacked barely four month after assuming the job as the head coach.

 Neville who is part of the England coaching crew. Neville's last game in charge was a 2-0 home defeat to Celta Vigo before the international break. Valencia won three of their 16 league games and and 10 of 28 games overall under Gary Neville. Six-time Spanish champions Valencia are currently 14th in the table, six points clear of the relegation zone with eight games remaining.

A statement from the La Liga club read: "After careful analysis, the club have decided to make this change with the best interests of the Valencia CF moving forward this season. We thank Gary for his work at Valencia and wish him the best in the future." However, the former Manchester and England's right back says,"i would have liked to continue the work I started, but I understand that we are in business based on results and in 28 games we have seen 10 wins, seven draws and 11 defeats, which is not the level demanded by me or by this club".

The assistant Pako Ayestaran who joined the club as assistant coach in February is likely to take over the position till the end of the season.
