How much do you know about SNAILS...

Snail is known for its shell. They belong to a group of animals with a soft body called molluscs. The shell protects it's soft body. It withdraws back into the shell whenever it is disturbed. Snails is a good source of protien however some cultures forbids it. Snail has different names in different parts of the world. In Nigeria it is prepared as CONGO meat. It is of many species and has some health benefits attached to eating it. Such benefits are:

Snail contains selenium which are important minerals and nutrients to fight diseases such as cancer and heart disease. 
Snails contain other minerals such as magnesium which plays important role in the body, iron which helps our red blood cells transport oxygen to all parts of the body and phosphorus which is also vital to the growth and repair of tissues.
