Improved diet, abstaining from alcohol and avoiding caffeine may help to improve your chances, although some experts believed that sex position plays a part too.

Cutting down alcohol intake>>>According to Dr. Sarah Javis, alcohol can have a negative effect on the reproductive system and damage fertility. She also noted that even a small amount can affect the menstrual cycle and reduce the chance of conceiving. Drinking also lowers testosterone levels and sperm quality and quantity in men. Also according to a study, infertile women who seek medical care for their fertility issues, have been shown to have a significantly higher alcohol intake than women who become pregnant naturally. excessive alcohol consumption has also been linked to low sperm count in men.

Avoiding caffeine>>>A recent survey estimated the average woman of reproductive age consumes approximately 100 mg of caffeine a day with the top ten percent of caffeine drinkers exceeding an excess of 229 mg a day. Caffeine is a nervous system stimulant. Multiple studies have suggested that caffeine consumption increases the risk of miscarriage. One study showed that women who drank more than one cup of coffee a day were half as likely to become pregnant per cycle as compared to women who consumed less. Another study of patients undergoing in vitro fertilization (IVF) demonstrated that women who consumed even modest amounts of caffeine (50 mg) were likely to have decreased live birth rates. A Preliminary studies in mice and monkeys suggest caffeine inhibits oocyte maturation. An immature oocyte does not fertilize and therefore is unable to produce a pregnancy.

 Sex position>>>Experts believe that is more likely to make you conceive than the other by affecting the passage of the sperm through the vagina to the Fallopain tube. According to Dr Glenville,  your choice of sex position may play a part in your chance of getting pregnant.She explained that any position that goes against gravity will discourage the sperm's journey.

No-smoking>>>>Study have clearly shown a link between smoking and fertility problems. According to Dr Geetha Venkat, director of the Harley Street Fertility Clinic. some researcher have revealed that there is a lot of evidence about the risks of smoking during pregnancy such as higher infant mortality, the increased risk of the baby developing serious respiratory infection, and lower birth weights.A study  Published in the Journal of Biosocial Science, the study suggests heavy smokers are affected to a greater degree. But Dr Munafo stressed that smoking made conception harder for all women.
