Eatting a healthy diet>>>>

Eating a healthy diet makes you stay healthy and limits the occurrence of some diseases. Sometimes people feeling a healthy diet is quantity instead of quality. This means consuming the right amount of food and drink to achieve and maintain a healthy body weight. However, these tips may help you eat a healthy diet.

Eat variety of foods>>>Eating a variety of different foods will supply the nutrients that are essential for our bodies. No single food contains all the nutrients that our bodies need and eating variety of food ensure you get all you need or is required to keep the body healthy and free from disease.







Fruits and Vegetables>>>>These are vital to the body as they are important sources of vitamins and minerals. The combination of these vitamins and minerals helps the body to stay healthy. In addition, There are high in dietary fiber which is very important  as it can provide the body with many health benefits as well, such as helping to maintain a healthy weight and lowering your risk of diabetes and heart disease.




Starchy foods>>> Starchy foods such as potatoes, bread, rice and cereals should be added to your diet as they also are high in fiber. They also contain some essential nutrients such as calcium, iron and B vitamins.

Include fish in your diet>>>Fishes especially oily fishes contains omega-3 which is very good  for the body. Research shows that omega-3 fatty acids reduce inflammation and may help lower risk of chronic diseases such as heart disease, cancer, and arthritis. Omega-3 are also important for cognitive (brain memory and performance) and behavioral function. Fishes are also important source of protein and may also contain vitamins and minerals. Fishes can also be good for bone healthy. Nuts are also good for your diet.

The Heart Foundation has found that increasing amounts of saturated fats in your diet will cause a rise in the level of bad cholesterol’ in your blood and decrease the level of ‘good cholesterol. Foods high in added sugars and refined carbohydrates such as cakes, biscuits, soft drinks and other sweetened beverages are not healthy choices as they can contribute to tooth decay.

Drink much water>>>Water helps you to stay hydrated without adding extra calories to your daily
intake. Water also help to remove toxins from the body while also aiding in weight loss.
