Arsenal substitute Welbeck gave Wenger's men what they deserve on the Val's day. Emirate Stadium hosted a highly motivated team and the League leaders in what some view as a crucial match. Leicester City took the lead through a penalty kick after Vardy was brought down in the 18 yard box and converted the spot kick. The half time ended in 1-0 win in favor of the visitors but the second half was a turn around for Arsenal got their goals through their substitutes. The Foxes were reduced to 10 men at the 54th minute as Danny Simpson was sent off for a second bookable offense. The Gunner took the advantage of it as they were in full control of the game but could not produce anything out of it. The first Arsenal's goal and the equalizer came from Walcott who came in for Francis Coquelin. Daniel Welbeck was introduced in the 83rd minute to replace Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain. Asernal continue to press harder for the winning goal but all the effort proved fruitless till minutes after the regulation time when Welbeck found the back of the net through a header from perfectly playcd free-kick to put a smile in the face of the home fans. With this result, Wenger's men have closed the gap to two points and are sited at the second position. The post 'A late header by Welbeck gave Arsenal a win' first appear on chipelez.blogspot.com
