JAMB GIVES 48HRS ULTIMUTUM FOR THE COMPLETION OF REGISTRATION>>>>>

Image result for pics of JAMB logoThe Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB, has announced that it has reopened the portal for a period of 48 hours to enable those that have not completed their JAMB registration to complete it.  According to the statement issued  by the board’s Director of Media and Public Relations, Dr. Fabian Benjamin on Tuesday, the portal which was reopened at exactly 12 midnight on Tuesday, February 23, will be closed by same time on Thursday, February 25.  

He also said  that there would be no room for fresh registration but for only candidates who had initiated registration process before the February 5 deadline. 

The statement reads:
“The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board hereby direct all candidates who have initiated the process of registration for the 2016 UTME but couldn’t upload and complete their registration process as at Friday 5th February, 2016 to do so within 48 hours starting from 12 midnight on Tuesday, 23rd February 2016, when the website will be opened to 12 midnight on Thursday 25th February, 2016 when the website will be closed. “The Board wishes to state that the directive doesn’t cover fresh registration but only those who had either done offline registration or visited our website but could not submit.”

The website will be till 12midnight on Thursday 25th February 2016 to enable the candidates to upload and complete the registration which they initiated before but were not able to complete. 

It was initially reported that there will be no extension for the registration after the February 5th deadline.
