Leicester City has pushed further on the title challenge as they tromp Peregrini's men 3-1 at Etihad Stadium on Saturday. The Foxes played with so much confidence as defender Robert Huth them an early lead inside the third minute and the goal put Reneri's men ahead at the half time. The second half saw two goals with Mahrez doubling their lead in the 48th minute before Huth wrapped it up in the 60th minute with a header from a corner kick. Sergio Aguero scored three minutes from the end of the match but it was only a consolation goal as it was the only goal City scored in that game. The scoreline was 3-1 in favor of Leicester City. This means that Leicester have extended their lead by six points while Manchester City in still in the second position with 45 points. Leicester is indeed showing that they have a fixed eyes on Premiership trophy.
