Valentine's day enjoyment has taken the life of an area Commander of Police in charge of Area K command in Morogbo Lagos. The tragedy struck as the Area Commander identified as Mr. Usong Ekpo was allegedly drowned in a swimming pool while cerebrating on Valentine's day with his friends at a popular hotel in the Ajah area of Lagos. He was said to has gone to the hostel with his friends to cerebrate Valentine when he decided to swim, but Lagos State Police spokesperson, Dolapo Badmos, a Superintendent of
Police denied it saying that the ACP had gone for a swimming exercise
when the sad incident occurred. According to eye witness, he was rescued and was taken to hospital but died few minutes later. A Police source, according to the Guardian acknowledged that the incident ‘was the worst valentine gift for the police. he was quoted as saying: “Yes, we lost ACP Ekpo, the Area Commander, Area K Command.
