Zinedine Zidane was recruited as the manager of Real Madrid over a month ago, taking over from Rafa Benitez who was dismissed by the club just after seven months incharge. This is his first ever appointment to coach a first team. The new boss will lead the club against AS Roma in the round of 16. Zidane, 43, was the head coach at the club’s B side Castilla, before the appointment. The French man admitted that winning is very essential and the target is to win the Champion's League. He also admitted that he is not fully prepared but he is going to try his best. He was Carlo Ancelotti’s assistant when they won the famous La Decima
in 2014, but the Frenchman will be eager make his own name in
the managerial ranks.
